PhD student of the University of Life Sciences in Poznań receives distinction in the FameLab Poland competition

Natalia Leciejewska, PhD student at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Sciences at the University of Life Sciences in Poznań, received a distinction in the FameLab Poland competition.  

The PhD student was appreciated by the Association of Science Advocates. A researcher from the Department of Animal Physiology, Biochemistry and Biostructure – Animal Physiology and Biochemistry Group was awarded for the presentation “Untested, illegal and … dangerous?”. In her scientific work, the laureate is studing the effect of substances prohibited in sport on the functioning of the body.

FameLab Poland is the Polish competition for scientists licensed by the Cheltenham Science Festival. It is organized jointly by the Copernicus Science Center and the British Council. The competition was held under the patronage of the Minister of Education and Science, Przemysław Czarnek, and the National Center for Research and Development. The competition partners includee: the Kościuszko Foundation, the Foundation for Polish Science and the Science Advocates Association.
