Sandra Śmigiel, PhD student at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Technology and Life Sciences in Bydgoszcz, received a special award of the Rector of the Kielce University of Technology in the Student-Inventor competition for the “Mobile ECR recorder based on the LoR”.
The invention of a young researcher is a system for monitoring the electrical activity of the heart based on the technology of wireless data transmission LoR together with a device for receiving data and processing them. The co-founder of the invention is Dr Eng. Damian Ledziński and Dr Eng. Tomasz Andrysiak.
The National Student-Inventor Competition has been organized since 2010 by the Kielce University of Technology. Its aim is to develop a culture of innovation in the academic environment. This year brought 139 solutions from 20 universities from all over Poland which is the record in the history of the competition with 361 inventors, including 157 students.
