PhD student at the Institute of International Studies at the University of Wroclaw, Aleksy Borówka, was promoted with the first result to the group of finalists of the 2nd International Geopolitical Olympiad.
Borówka scored 54 points out of 60. It was the best score of 20 finalists from six countries: Poland, Great Britain, Hungary, Ukraine, Germany and Belarus. The success of the representative of the University of Wroclaw is even greater because he won for the second time in the district final, and in the last year’s national final he took third place.
The International Geopolitical Olympiad is an initiative of the Polish Geopolitical Society addressed to young people interested in geopolitics – an interdisciplinary field of knowledge of political science, geography, international relations, military sciences and national security. The final of the competition will take place in November at the Congress of Polish Geopolitics.
