Piotr Dardziński became the president of the Łukasiewicz Research Network established on 1 April 2019, the third largest research organization in Europe. He will lead a group of 38 research institutes that will soon present a wide offer for entrepreneurs from start-ups, small and medium-sized companies and large corporations.

Piotr Dardziński was previously the secretary of state in the Ministry of Science and Higher Education responsible for cooperation of science and business. He supervised the government agency National Center for Research and Development, the National Academic Exchange Agency and the research institute Information Processing Center.

– The Łukasiewicz Research Network is the implementation of Polish aspirations for cooperation with European and world institutions. We are now an important partner for organizations such as the German Fraunhofer Association, the French Carnot or the Finnish VTT – said President Dardziński.
