A multimedia platform for learning Hindi is being developed at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. It will be available free of charge to anyone wishing to learn the language and explore Indian culture. “Hindi for you” is a project initiated by employees of the university’s Institute of Oriental Studies.
The intention is to combine traditional learning methods, interactive techniques for learning the devanagari script and expanding vocabulary and building communication skills. The project has received more than EUR 165 000 in funding from the European Economic Area.
The platform will be made available free of charge to anyone wishing to develop their Hindi language skills. It will contain 30 lessons on cultural, social, ethical and legal considerations related to the professional use of language skills. The lessons will include dialogues, texts, vocabulary, recordings of texts, exercises and interesting facts.
