Fourteen platoon commanders improved their skills of team building, making decisions under pressure, effective communication and effective cooperation on the course conducted by the Academy of Land Forces in Szklarska Poręba – informs the university on its website.

The course of shaping leadership competences was implemented for the first time by the Academy of Land Forces as part of the course training of the Ministry of National Defense. The young lieutenants spent five days in the “Wysoka Kamień” training center practicing the practical and theoretical skills necessary in the role of a real leader.

The participants of the course passed the competency tests, and were thoroughly observed. Based on the results of the test and observation, each of the platoon commanders received information about their strengths and weaknesses. Commanders of the course participants will receive an assessment of young officers potential.
