In February Ministry of Development launches the first call for social innovation projects. Municipalities and inter-municipal associations may apply for co-financing of their projects. The total sum of funds allocated for co-financing projects amounts to PLN 15 million.
The support aims to develop model solutions that will determine the program of Social Rental Agencies (SANs), and then their implementation in practice. SANs are non-profit organizations. They act as intermediaries between the owners of apartments and the part of society that cannot afford high loan installments or rent for an apartment.
