The Jagiellonian University (UJ) in Krakow has launched the popular scientific podcast Conversations for the End of the World, in which scientists talk about various problems related to research on the past.

Its originator is Dr Piotr Kołodziejczyk from the Jagiellonian University Faculty of History, who decided to use the pandemic time to share scientific knowledge through new media.

The interviews with scientists and artists devoted to various aspects of human culture in times of danger are published in the “Conversations at the end of the world” podcast.

The first series of conversations was inspired by a pandemic and concerned epidemics and disasters that have affected humanity in the past.
