Poland became a member of the EMBL -European Molecular Biology Laboratory. This will enable the development of cooperation with EMBL for Polish scientists and PhD students, including the creation of joint scientific initiatives.
The European Molecular Biology Laboratory is an international research organization of European countries, specializing in conducting basic research in the field of natural sciences. It was established in 1974 at the initiative of the European Organization of Molecular Biology.
Membership in the organization enables the development of cooperation between Polish scientists and PhD students from EMBL, including the creation of joint programs. The characteristic feature of EMBL is interdisciplinary character. EMBL employs biologists, biochemists, physicists and IT specialists.
