Prof. Bogdan Nogalski, Tatra Volunteer Rescue Service and the Federation of Scientific Associations NOT became this year’s laureates of the Tadeusz Kotarbiński Medal of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN).

In the 13th program, the Tadeusz Kotarbiński Medal of the Polish Academy of Sciences was handed to the Polish economist Prof. Bogdan Nogalski for his lifetime scientific achievements and his outstanding work that contributed to the progress in the sciences of organization and management.

Prof. Nogalski is a specialist in organization management and an expert in performance of holding companies and capital groups. He is the Honorary Chairman of the Organization and Management Sciences Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

Medal for outstanding practical achievements in organization and management, characterized by high economic and social efficiency, was awarded to: Tatra Volunteer Rescue Service – a Polish association dealing with mountain rescue in the area of ​​the Polish Tatra Mountains and the Federation of Scientific and Technical Associations NOT – a union of scientific and technical associations.
