The Institute of Geophysics of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN) and the Edu-Arctic.pl platform are organizing a competition whose main prize will be a trip to the Polish Polar Station on Spitsbergen.
Participants in the competition can be students aged 15-19 and adults who are not specialists in the field of earth sciences. The competition task is to prepare a research project or present an innovation that is applicable in the polar regions. The jury will assess the originality, feasibility and correctness of the idea.
The winner will participate in a 10-day trip to the Polish Polar Station Hornsund in Spitsbergen. The PAN emphasizes that it will be a unique opportunity to see how scientists work in the Arctic. The organizer covers all costs of the trip.
Applications can be submitted until March 15.
