By March 31, scholars can submit applications to the Scientific Award of the branch of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Gdańsk for young scientists 2018.

The award is granted to scholars or PhD students of scientific institutions in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian, Pomeranian and West Pomeranian provinces for the original research achievement, published in the year preceding the submission of the application for the award.

The prize is awarded equally to five winners in the following fields: humanities and social sciences, biological and agricultural sciences, exact sciences and earth sciences, technical sciences and medical sciences. Candidates who were under 33 years in the year preceding the submission of the application may apply for the competition. Applications should be submitted in electronic form to: gdansk@pan.pl
