The non-profit organization Women in Science at the Nencki Institute (WISaN) in cooperation with the ALBA Network are inviting participants to an international meeting with Carmen Sandi, professor of neurobiology at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne, president of the ALBA Network and advocate for equality and diversity in neuroscience, former president of European Neuroscience (FENS).
The event, which will take place on April 20, 2021 at 1 p.m. on the Zoom platform, is supported by the president of the Foundation for Polish Science, Prof. Maciej Żylicz.
Women in Science at the Nencki Institute is a non-profit equality organization that supports women and other under-represented groups in science. It was founded by a group of researchers from the Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology of the Polish Academy of Sciences to fight for the equal presence of women in science as one of the key factors of socio-economic progress.
