On January 23, 2020 Polish Academy of Sciences with the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences are organizing “Forum for the Rule of Law” at the Staszic Palace in Warsaw.

The information was provided by the president of the Polish Academy of Sciences, professor Jerzy Duszyński, in a letter of 31 December 2019 addressed to the authorities of the Supreme Bar Council (NRA), the Association of Polish Judges “IUSTITIA” and the National Council of Legal Advisers.

The listed organizations requested the President of the Polish Academy of Sciences to support the “Forum for the Rule of Law”. Professor Duszyński emphasized that the Polish Academy of Sciences is planning its own event dedicated to the issue of the National Council of the Judiciary and it is inviting the representatives of the President, marshals of the Sejm and Senate and the representatives of the NRA, “IUSTITIA” and the National Council of Legal Advisers, as well as deans of the faculties of law of selected universities.
