The Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics of the Polish Academy of Sciences has announced recruitment for participants of the 44th expedition to the Polish Antarctic Station such as electricians, cooks, car mechanics, IT specialists and ecological observers. Applications will be accepted until January 13, 2019.

The Polish Antarctic Station “Arctowski” is looking for employees for a six-month and all-year expeditions. For the six-month expedition, they seek a maintainer (service, maintenance and repair of floating equipment), field assistant (support of scientists in the field), and a cook.
On a year-long trip, they seek expedition manager, an energy specialist, an electrician, a car mechanic, a computer specialist, a paramedic, an ecological observer, a sea observer, a hydrochemical and glaciological observer.
