The University of Zielona Góra, together with the English University of Nottingham and the Dutch University of Twente, are carrying out the research project “Smart Cities EMC Network for Training (SCENT). The project’s budget is almost 2.4 million euros.
The main objective of the project is to create a network offering training for PhD students in specific issues related to electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) intelligent cities. The project is developed as part of the European research program HORIZON 2020: 1.3 – Excellent science / Marie Skłodowska-Curie (MSCA).
EMC is necessary for the reliable operation of systems containing electronic, telecommunications and energy systems. It is also a legal requirement for the introduction of the product to the European Union market.
