A scientific consortium of the Warsaw Medical University has received 600,000 euro co-financing for the implementation of the project “Mobile application for patients and doctors of many specialties – a tool for education and support in the decision-making process before the operational treatment”.
Co-financing was granted by the National Center for Research and Development in the third call for research and development projects within the framework of Polish-German cooperation. The consortium is composed of the Warsaw Medical University, KardioMedSilesia Sp z o.o., the University of Freiburg- Medical Center and business entities: HID Human Interface Design GmbH, Heart Team Sp o.o.
The goal is to create the first comprehensive telemedicine solution on the market – a mobile application “with intelligent decision support algorithms and an education module for patients treated with oral anticoagulants”. The application will help to improve health and quality of life.
