Representatives of Toho University, during their visit to Katowice, talked with the authorities of the Medical University of Silesia on the possibilities of cooperation. The process of establishing cooperation between representatives of the Polish and Japanese scientific and medical communities are continued from this year’s Forum of “Polish Medicine of the 21st Century” in Tokyo.
Visitors from Japan visited the Center for Didactics and Medical Simulation in Katowice-Ligota, where they reviewed modern simulation equipment in the operating room and intensive care unit, as well as an ambulance and a virtual anatomical table.
During a few-hour visit, the hosts and guests exchanged experiences in conducting research and teaching in Poland and Japan and discussed the possibilities of cooperation between universities, the exchange of students, employees and implementation of research and development projects.
