The National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) has announced an application process for the NAWA Intervention Grants program as part of the second program in 2021. The best projects responding to a rapidly changing world may receive funding of up to PLN 300,000.
The NAWA Intervention Grants Program supports international cooperation of research teams or international mobility of scientists, which are undertaken in response to sudden, important, unforeseen social, civilization and natural phenomena with global or regionally significant consequences.
Proposals must cover research activities, which implementation is not possible by applying for other existing funding mechanisms due to the need for a rapid response, and applying for standard funding sources could lead to the loss of a unique opportunity to solve an important problem.
The call for applications under the second part of the program is carried out from September 1 to November 30, 2021. Still PLN 1,275,282.51 is available within the allocation for this year,.
