The Łukasiewicz Research Network has entered into an agreement with INESC Brussels HUB, a group of 5 Portuguese INESC institutes whose mission is to promote strategic positioning, capacity building, visibility and representation in European research and innovation ecosystems, networks, platforms, programmes and instruments.

Collaboration between Lukasiewicz and the Portuguese research network will include: the exchange of information on research outputs with the local community through the commercialisation of intellectual property and the creation of spin-offs; joint research and joint foresight activities; participation in international networking meetings and professional development of staff.

The signed agreement follows a study visit by the Łukasiewicz representatives to Portugal in autumn 2021. The Łukasiewicz Research Network is already involved in cooperation with INESC. Currently, the Łukasiewicz institutes are implementing two research projects for a total of PLN 5 million.
