Chitosan hydrogel – ChitoVelum from KAEM Maria Krystyna Krupska company and the Gdańsk University of Technology and the bone replacement graft FlexiOss from Medical Inventi S.A., won the competition “Polish Product of the Future” organized by the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development and the National Center for Research and Development.

Initiatives such as the Polish Product of the Future competition show how much potential lies in the close cooperation of Polish entrepreneurs and scientific units – said Piotr Dardziński, deputy minister of science and higher education during the gala ceremony. He emphasized, that the creative cooperation between these two realities is the best recipe for breakthrough solutions for the Polish economy and social life.

The winners will receive a grant of up to PLN 100,000 for the further development, promotion or internationalization of the product.
