The project implemented in Polish-Austrian cooperation joined the list of winners of the Weave-UNISONO competition. The National Science Center (NCN) will allocate over 935,000 to financing the research. 

The National Science Center stated that a Polish-Austrian project in exact and technical sciences “Classifying Derivative Models of the Axiom of Determination” has received funding for three years.

Scientists from the Institute of Mathematics of the Polish Academy of Sciences under the supervision of Dr Grigor Sargsyan together with researchers from the Technische Universität Wien will study “benign objects in Derived Models”.

The National Science Center explains that scientists chose the classification of benign objects under the assumption of the existence of large cardinal numbers as the main goal of the project. The application was assessed by the Austrian agency Fonds zur Förderung der wissenschaftlichen Forschung (FWF) as a lead agency.
