Polish researchers become laureates of L’Oréal-UNESCO scholarships for women in science

Six Polish researchers received this year’s L’Oréal-UNESCO scholarships for women in science. The Polish Committee for UNESCO, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the Polish Academy of Sciences are the partners of the “L’Oréal Poland for Women and Science” program.

Scholarships in the amount of PLN 35,000 in the post PhD category were received by: Joanna Gościańska from the Faculty of Chemistry, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Dr. Paulina Kasperkiewicz-Wasilewska from the Faculty of Chemistry of the Wrocław University of Technology and Dr. Anna Muszewska from the Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

Scholarships in the amount of 30 thousand in the PhD category were received by Beata Małachowska from the Medical University of Lodz and Anna Piotrowska-Murzyn from the Institute of Pharmacology of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Kraków.

Scholarship in the MA category in the amount of 20 thousand PLN was received by Aleksandra Synowiec, a student at the Faculty of Biochemistry, Biophysics and Biotechnology of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow.
