Researchers from Łukasiewicz – Institute of Microelectronics and Photonics (IMiF), together with a Polish 3D-nano company and foreign partners, are implementing the LumAI project. The project is being implemented with financial support from the M-ERA.NET 3 consortium.
The aim of the Łukasiewicz – IMiF scientists is to develop a new system for securing documents and verifying their authenticity using a smartphone application. The project involves producing unique luminescent tags, test-securing documents and verifying the authenticity of TagAnts (special tags).
“Luminescent tagging of documents and the method of their mobile detection based on Hyperspectral Imaging and Artificial Intelligence” – LumAI is an interdisciplinary project combining knowledge from the fields of materials engineering, optical imaging and characterisation, and information technology.
The LumAI project consortium consists of five partners from Poland, Lithuania and Latvia.
