This year the National Science Center (NCN) will offer the winners of this year’s Polish Returns program funding for scientific research. The program is organized by National Academic Exchange Agency (NAWA).
The goal of cooperation between NCN and NAWA is to create joint forms of research funding to ensure continuity and coherence of research, as well as to increase mobility, which is an essential element of achieving scientific excellence and establishing international cooperation.
The result of joint activities of these two institutions will be a complementary competition offer ensuring greater effectiveness of the grant system.
Basic research grants are additional funding for the best projects that will be selected in this year’s Polish Returns program. They can be used during the first 18 months of the project by the scientist returning to the country and his project team.
