Dr Rashed Ali Hashem, a public school teacher from the United Arab Emirates, won the prize worth over PLN 1 million in the competition for the best teacher in the Persian Gulf region. The jury appreciated the teacher who funded 12 modern laboratories at his school from his own funds. One of the laboratories was equipped with the “Magic Carpet” from Poland.
Michał Zębik from Good One PR informed that the awarded project consisted in laboratories presenting scientific achievements and encouraging physical activity. One of them is equipped with the “Magic Carpet” – an interactive projector from the Polish company Funtronic, supporting physical and mental activity.
“Magic Carpet” is a device that is used as a support in pre-school and early school education. The interactive projector, directed by hand and leg movements provides with a set of multimedia exercises, games and motion games, thanks to which children learn the basics of English, maths, history and even programming.
