Polish Astronomical Society (PTA) and Polish Television S.A. (TVP) since Thursday, 11 July 2019 began broadcasting again series of “Astronarium”, a popular science television program about astronomy and space exploration.

The new episodes will be broadcasted on the nationwide TVP 3, with premiere broadcasts every two weeks on Thursdays at 17:00 and with later repetitions. Shortly after the premiere of the television episodes will also be available on YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/AstronariumPL.

The “Astronarium” series premiered in 2015. So far, 77 episodes have been created, reaching the cumulative emission range (premiere plus replays) on tv, even with about a million viewers per episode. On YouTube, the total number of viewers exceeded 5 million.
The new series of episodes will be realized in 2019-2020. The first episode of the new series is devoted to the recent scientific sensation – the first in the history image of the black hole.
