The results of the latest Times Higher Education Impact Ranking have been published. In the ranking, 1,406 universities from 106 countries were classified including 15 universities from Poland.
The highest positions were taken by the University of Gdańsk, Gdańsk University of Technology, Łódź University of Technology and the University of Warsaw. All these universities were in the 601-800 range, for the University of Gdańsk and the Lodz University of Technology this means an advance of 200 places compared to last year.
The range of 801-1000 includes the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, the Medical University of Gdańsk, the Silesian University of Technology, the University of Life Sciences in Wrocław, the Wrocław University of Science and Technology and the University of Wrocław.
The following places were classified in 1001+ places: Rzeszów University of Technology, Warsaw School of Economics, SWPS University of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn and Warsaw University of Life Sciences.
As part of THE Impact Ranking, the activities of universities are assessed in terms of the implementation of 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) constituting the basis of the so-called UN-adopted 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in the World.
