A team of allergologists from the University Clinical Hospital (USK) in Opole has developed a Polish version of the CRUSE Control Urticaria app to make it easier for patients and doctors to assess the severity and control of chronic urticaria symptoms.
“By recording the symptoms of urticaria and its impact on quality of life every day in just a few minutes, the patient gains the ability to control the course of the disease and makes it easier for the attending physician to optimise treatment”, says Zenon Brzoza, UO professor, head of the Department of Internal Medicine, Allergology, Endocrinology and Gastroenterology at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Opole and the Internal Medicine and Allergology Subdepartment of the USK in Opole.
The CRUSE Control Urticaria app is available free of charge for iOS and Android mobile devices. The authors of the Polish version of the application, in addition to Professor Zenon Brzoza, are doctors Łukasz Moos and Wojciech Żurek.
