Increasing the level of academic exchange, intensification of joint research activities and promotion of Polish language at Vietnamese universities are the topics of the meeting of Jarosław Gowin, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Science and Higher Education with the Vietnam government delegation headed by Truong Hoa Binh, Deputy Prime Minister of Vietnam.

During the meeting, the internationalization of studies was discussed. To enhance it, the sides decided to create a Polish language course at the University of Hanoi. The representative of the Vietnamese government expressed a wish to increase the limit of Vietnamese scholarship holders at Polish universities in the future.

Deputy Prime Minister Gowin emphasized during the talks that Polish-Vietnamese cooperation could be intensified in the pharmaceutical, agri-food, armaments or tourist sectors. He also stressed that the presence of a large Vietnamese diaspora in Poland remains important factor of economic cooperation.
