Polskie Gornictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo (PGNiG) has launched a program with the Startup Hub Poland Foundation, which has invited startups from around the world. The company offers financial help to innovators, and in return expects innovative solutions that will help it improve its operations. The event was attended by the Minister of Entrepreneurship and Technology Jadwiga Emilewicz.
– We offer startups access to qualified personnel. It will be an innovative cooperation platform. PGNiG is a global company and needs innovative solutions, which is why we invite startups from abroad. We offer a 50,000 euro award for the best startups. We also expect that solutions will bring us profits. We want to implement innovations primarily in the mining sector – said PGNiG president Piotr Woźniak.
