An Interdepartmental Neuroscience Centre is being established at the Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin. The main idea behind the Centre is to create a space conducive to scientists in the exchange of research experience and to build interdisciplinary teams that can carry out new projects in broadly defined clinical neuroscience.

One of the primary goals of the new Centre is to integrate the scientific and clinical community and to realise and subsequently popularise research results to meet the needs of patients, diagnosticians, and therapists. 

Clinical neuroscience is currently the most intensively developed field of science. It aims to understand the mechanisms of underlying disorders and to provide new diagnostic and therapeutic tools to help patients more effectively.
