The Minister of Health awarded the Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin with a financial subsidy of almost PLN 1.4 million. The money is allocated to the emerging Medical Simulation Center – informs the University on the website.
The center is located at ul. Żołnierska in Szczecin near the university faculty of health sciences.
Students will find high fidelity simulation rooms in the Center – an operating theater and an intensive care unit, a hospital emergency department, an ambulance simulator, a delivery room and nursing care, and low fidelity simulation rooms, technical skills laboratories, laboratories for teaching clinical skills and surgical skills, ultrasound lab and endoscopy, “virtual patient” and examination rooms in the form of doctors’ offices. There will also be seminar hall and computer rooms.
