The first free drive-thru coronavirus checking point in the Wielkopolska region has started in Poznań, allowing taking a swab without getting out of the car to perform a PCR test for the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. PCR determinations will be carried out at the University Coronavirus Laboratory of the Poznań University of Medical Sciences.

The pickup point is located under tents on the university campus at ul. Rokietnicka. The studies are intended for risk groups – patients suspected of being infected with concurrent symptoms of acute viral infection and medical personnel.
Qualification for tests is based on a telephone interview verifying the legitimacy of the test. Telephone registration is required before each test.
