Members of the Spatial Management Academic Club from the Faculty of Social and Economic Geography and Spatial Management at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań are carrying out a scientific and educational project entitled “The perception of the environment and its influence on our lives”.
The main objectives of the project are to introduce the participants to the world of spatial planning, which is to help build social and spatial awareness and sensitivity to the surroundings, to help understand social behaviour and mutual relations between people and space, and to activate the participants and develop interdisciplinary methods of creating space, reports the university.
The project is designed for audiences of all ages, including pre-school and school children, high school students, university students and adults. Since 2015, several hundred people have taken part in the activities – which have been implemented, among others, in kindergartens, primary and secondary schools, village halls, an orphanage and a senior citizens’ club.
