Poznan students win Global Online Marketing Academic Challenge

Students of the Adam Mickiewicz University and the University of Economics in Poznan won the Global Online Marketing Academic Challenge (2018). Earlier, the Poznań team proved to be the best in Europe. It qualified for the final round, where the world’s winners were selected.

At GOMAC 2018, students prepared and implemented an online marketing campaign for a real company, competing on the real market and incurring real costs without the upper limit of the budget imposed by the competition regulations. This year, students under the supervision of Dr. Wojciech Czart worked with Ogarniamprad.pl – an auction platform enabling bidding of energy prices in real time.

Poznań students have already started preparations for participation in GOMAC 2019. A team of seven students will prepare and conduct an online campaign for the German company IBS GMBH GEO-CAD, offering a system of booking accommodation for employees in Poland and Germany.
