37 natural science faculties of Polish universities, scientific units of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Poznan Zoo will take part in the 13th Night of Biologists on Friday, 12 January 2024.
The Night of Biologists is a series of lectures, presentations and workshops open to everyone. Its guiding idea is to popularise science and biological knowledge in the 21st century.
The theme of this year’s Biologists’ Night, ‘Secrets of life from cells to the biosphere’, emphasises that we live in a rapidly changing world marked by pandemics and climate change. At the same time, the organisers remind us that the biological sciences are currently developing at a rapid pace and that new technologies and their application in medicine, industry, agriculture and households are making it possible to combat these threats.
