Seventeen Polish universities are included in the world annual ranking of disciplines (“by subject”) published by the British QS Quacquarelli Symonds agency. In the category of agriculture and forestry, the University of Life Sciences in Poznań was classified in the range of 251-300, as one of two Polish universities.
– Although the position of our University is far distant, the very fact of being present in the QS ranking is already a distinction. The visibility of the University of Life Sciences in Poznań in global rankings is very important in developing the prestige of our university in Poland and internationally- says Vice-Rector for Science and International Cooperation, Prof. Piotr Goliński.
QS publishes three reports: assessing the overall activity of the university; scientific disciplines (subject) and fields of study. This year’s field ranking includes 1,452 universities in 85 countries with over 14,000 studies.
