The collection of research data of the University of Life Sciences in Poznań will be available in the Field Open Data Repository – RepOD created by the Interdisciplinary Center for Mathematical and Computational Modeling at the University of Warsaw.  

As part of the general data collection in RepOD, it will create individual collections that fit into the specificity of research carried out at faculties within the leading disciplines.

The RepOD users can share published and unpublished, raw or processed data – these decisions are left to their makers. Each data set included in RepOD receives a DOI number (digital object identifier), thanks to which it can be clearly quoted in scientific papers.

Open data sharing is more and more common in the scientific world and has even become an obligation in many projects. In many countries, research funding institutions require the open sharing of data obtained in the course of funded research.
