The team of Poznan University of Technology students took part in the “Hult Prize” competition, where students from all over the world are trying to deal with the problems related to access to food, water, electricity and education.
The subject of competition is different in each competition, each time personally named by the former president of the USA, Bill Clinton. This year the subject is “Youth unemployment. How to change world with 1 million dollars.” The winners will be presented in September.
The project of Poznan students, presented during the London convention, assumes the creation of a fund whose goal is to provide 10,000. jobs in food production in Iraq and in the Kurdistan region. The project is based on the relations of demand and supply that develop there, with particular emphasis on the economic crisis affecting the region.
