University Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań, as the only university from Poland this year, was included in the Top 200 academic institutions list in The Nature Index Rising Stars prepared by Springer Nature. Poznan’s university took 172th place in the ranking.

Nature Index 2018 Rising Stars emphasizes the achievements of selected institutions, countries as well as individual scientists demonstrating an exceptionally large development in their contribution to the development of the highest quality research. The ranking refers to articles published between January 2015 and December 2017.

In the global index of the Nature index referring to the publishing achievements for the period January 1 – December 31, 2017, the Poznań University is at 718 positions among over 4,000. listed universities.

The Nature Index is a database referring to the publication achievements of individual countries and institutions in 82 prestigious scientific journals in the field of natural science, selected by an independent group of experts.
