Almost 300 new students from abroad appeared on February 22 at the Wrocław University of Technology to take a part in the ‘Pre- Day’. They acquainted with the university, colleagues from science clubs and opportunities to spend their free time. In the summer semester, the university will teach a record number of over 1,100 international students.
The most of new students come from India, Ukraine and Turkey. The citizens of Pakistan, Iraq, France, Spain, Portugal, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Italy, China, Libya, Brazil and Germany also came to Wroclaw to study. They were most eager to choose mechanical; IT and management; chemical and architecture faculties.
As part of the event, students watched an information film about the University of Technology and special presentations prepared by the university organizations. They also met their colleagues from scientific circles and student organizations and got acquainted with the offer of the university library. The representatives of the police told the students about safety in the city.
