On 15 February 2024, the University of Warsaw (UW) will host a meeting with Roberta Metsola, President of the European Parliament.
Roberta Metsola is a Maltese-born lawyer who specialises in European law. She is a graduate of the University of Malta. She was Secretary General of the European Democrat Students Association from 2002 to 2003.
After Malta’s accession to the European Union, she worked in the Permanent Representation as a legal specialist. In 2013, she was elected as a Member of the European Parliament. In November 2020, she became the first Vice-President of the institution and has held the position of President of the European Parliament since January 2022.
The meeting in English, combined with a debate with students, will begin at 14.15 in the Column Hall of the UW History Department on the UW campus at Krakowskie Przedmieście in Warsaw.
