In the last 7 months, scientists from the Łukasiewicz Research Network have prepared 551 ideas for entrepreneurs. Three-quarters of them have good chances to be implemented – says Piotr Dardziński, president of the Łukasiewicz Research Network.

The speed of response, high quality of projects, and remote operation determined the way the Network operated during the pandemic. The coronavirus did not surprise us – emphasizes Dardziński and adds that the crisis has helped many citizens to see the importance of science and its development opportunities.

-Now, companies are looking for solutions “just in case” – which will limit any losses or even allow to use the situation and win the place in the market including the European competitors.

There are industries, like the construction industry, which say: we will use that technology so that even coronavirus does not stop our growth. We are using this trend in the Łukasiewicz Net- adds President Dardziński.
