– Naturally, some institutes have had good experience of working with business, and we also use these relationships. Our task is to preserve what is and at the same time find new partners and create more connections with business within our organization. In recent months, we have managed to do it – said Piotr Dardziński, president of the Łukasiewicz Research Network.
As President Dardziński emphasizes in an interview, networked institutes are already working with Elemental Holding and Eneris. Soon they will start cooperation with the Polish State Railways (PKP), Copper Mining and Metallurgy Combine (KGHM) and Azoty.
– The point is that projects should be implemented by a consortium of institutes ready to respond to business needs. It may be a project not necessarily financed by business from own resources. It can be financed from calls of the National Center for Research and Development or from European grants – explains the president of the Network.
