The Contest Jury of the Scientific Award of the President of the Polish Space Agency awarded the best student diploma theses in the field of space engineering.

In the category of engineering works, the jury awarded Piotr Skoczylas of Rzeszow Technological University for his thesis titled: “The Theseus engine. A proposal for the reliable and affordable suborbital propulsion system”. In the master’s thesis category, the first prize was received by Michał Hałoń from the Warsaw University of Technology for his work “Detecting and Recognizing Markers for the European Rover Challenge mobile robot competition”.

The aim of the competition is to promote individual and team achievements of students of Polish universities in the field of space engineering, conducting educational activities in the field of research and use of space and conducting promotional activities in the field of the outer space.
