The Brill publishing house, one of the oldest and most prestigious in the world, has published the book “Interpreting Globalization”, edited by Prof. Leszek Koczanowicz, Dr Piotr J. Fereński and Joanna Panciuchin, University of Wrocław. It is devoted to the ways of conceptualizing global phenomena.

The concepts of the book include: the world, universality, locality, cosmopolitanism, interculturalism, conflicts, migrations, flows, capital, market, international relations. The book is related to the activity of the “Kultura-Historia-Globalizacja” magazine. The idea of ​​the magazine was to gather various opinions on the historical and contemporary perspectives, constitute the most important factors determining global processes.

The book contains articles that were written within cultural studies, history as well as archeology, anthropology, philosophy, sociology, political science, art history and musicology.
