Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki took part in the inauguration of the academic year at the Medical University in Lublin. The university will educate over 6,900 students.

“Financing Polish science must be increased every year to become a locomotive for the country’s economic growth,” said the prime minister. He also appreciated the contribution of the University of Lublin in shaping the future elites. “It is here in Lublin, at your wonderful universities, the knowledge, achievements and future of Polish science are forged”- he added.

The inauguration ceremony of the academic year 2018/2019 was accompanied by the opening of a new building of the Medical Simulation Center. Prof. Andrzej Drop, Rector of the Medical University of Lublin stated that “the presence of such an entity in the structure of the university is the current world standard of modern medical education”.
