During this year’s University of Rzeszow Festival, the honorary doctorate of the University of Rzeszow was bestowed on Tehran-born Prof Mansur Rahnama-Hezavah, who is a professor of medical sciences, a practising dentist and an academic teacher at the Medical University of Lublin.
Between 1985 and 1990, he studied at the Department of Dentistry of the Faculty of Medicine of the Medical University of Lublin. After obtaining his doctorate, he was employed as an assistant professor at the Medical University of Lublin at the First Faculty of Medicine with the Faculty of Dentistry in the Department of Dental and Maxillofacial Surgery.
In 2014, Mansur Rahnama Hezavah received the title of Professor of Medical Sciences from the President of Poland. In 2019, he became a member of the Council of Scientific Excellence for the first term. His high professional standing resulted in his appointment as a national consultant in dental surgery in 2014. In 2018, he became president of the Polish Society of Dental and Maxillofacial Surgery.
