Professor Piotr Chłosta, head of the Clinic and Department of Urology of the Jagiellonian University Collegium Medicum in Krakow, received the Golden Pin European Board of Urology (EBU) for merits in the field of education and postgraduate education in urology in Europe.

EBU is a non-profit organization that acts as part of the UEMS Urological Section (European Union of Medical Specialists). Its main purpose is to define the standards of urological practice and education in urology, which translates into providing the highest level of medical care in the field of urology in Europe.

Professor Piotr Chłosta since 2008 has been chairing the Endourology Section of the Polish Urological Association (PTU), in the years 2002-14 he was a delegate of PTU to EBU.
